WELCOME COACH KELLY! Kelly Dunbar is from Williamsburg, VA, and has been swimming since she was four years old. In the fall, Kelly will be a sophomore at Washington College in Maryland where she is majoring in environmental studies and is on the varsity swim team. Kelly lettered all four years at Lafayette High School, making it back to finals and earning points every year at State. In college, Kelly qualified for the Centennial Conference Championships hosted by Franklin & Marshall and placed in the 400 I.M. and 200 I.M. She is very excited to working with Category 1 and training with Category 3 at high altitude! SUMMER PLANS FLORIDA TRAVEL MEET: JUNE 24 - JULY 1 BOARD OF DIRECTORS NEEDS NEW MEMBERS! We are still looking for a few people to serve on the incoming board which will be seated in September. We have a great team, thanks to our coaches and the able direction of our all-volunteer board. It is important to have new energy and ideas, so board members can only serve 2 years in a row. Please consider giving your time to help keep our team running smoothly. Contact Kathy Lahr at 303-570-8251 to talk about the possibilities for sharing your talents with the team. Our team bylaws require that board elections be held at the Annual General Meeting in July (date to be announced after the June board meeting). ROCKIES GAME THIS SUNDAY! |
