Congratulations Evergreen Hurricanes!!!  Team places 10th at State

Many great swims were had by all.  Of the 19 swimmers participating, 15 scored points for the team.  Congratulations to Lindsay Morrow for making her first Sectional Cut, and to Lexie Malazdrewicz and Josie Pearson for being State Champions. For such a small team, we had a large presence.  Way to go Coach Jeff, we couldn't have done it without you!!

Evergreen Season Finale Meet Entries Due Today, Wed. March 10th:

This meet will be on Sunday, March 21st.  If your child will not be swimming in this meet please be sure to let coach Jeff know via email at jarm003@yahoo.com by today, or you will be charged for their meet entry fees.  Please be watching your email and checking the website, evergeenswimteam.org, for your volunteer assignments. We currently have 260 swimmers entered.  It takes all families to run a successful swim meet!! 

Florida Trip Info:

Just an FYI, if you put a deposit down for the Florida trip, those checks are being cashed.  Your next payment of $250.00 will be due May 3rd and a final payment June 10th.  More information as far as costs/flight/vans etc. will be coming soon.

New Team Bylaws will be posted on the website soon:

Some changes have been made to our team bylaws, updating them from 2007.  The main changes include the financial aid section, eliminating the Jill Roberts Swim-a-thon, that we have not had in years, as well as providing college scholarships. We also updated items that were in there regarding our annual team meeting and the way that the BOD meetings are conducted.  Please review them and feel free to contact Kathy Lahr at president@evergreenswimteam.org with any questions.

After our last home meet of the season we can all head down to our end of Season Party.  More details to come.

Practice Cancellation Reminders: 

No Saturday morning practice this month for Categories 3&4. 

NO PRACTICE Thursday, March 25th due to a Boys H.S Meet.

NO PRACTICE Monday, March 29th-Saturday, April 3rd.  Practice will resume on Monday April 5th.  Have a great Spring Break!!
