Each day of the meet will have things to know/remember.  Here is the breakdown of important information by day:

FRIDAY:

Warm-ups for all athletes will be from 4:00-4:50pm in Lanes 8, 9, and 10.  Meet Start is 5:00pm.  Please arrive as close to 3:45pm as possible.  If you are in the 13&Over 500 Freestyle only that evening, please discuss alternative arrival time / warm up time with your primary coach.

Positive check-in will be required for Event #2 (13&Over 400 IM), Event #4 (10-12 year old 500 Free), and Event #5 (13&Over 500 Free).  Please check-in as soon as you arrive.

All of the above mentioned positive check-in events will be swum Mixed gender, so please pay attention to the actual Event Number when you look at your individual events!

There will be NO FINALS swims for anything Friday evening.  It is a one swim kind of session Friday evening.

SATURDAY:

Prelims Warm-ups will be from 7:25-7:50am in Lanes 6-11.  Meet start is 8:00am.  This is a short warm-up time so please be on time!

All prelim swims will operate in prelim/final format.  This means:

Top 20 qualifiers in the 10-12 yr old events will come back to Finals in the afternoon.

Top 20 qualifers in the 13&Over events of 100's or 50's will come back to Finals in the afternoon.

Top 30 qualifiers in the 15&Over events of 100's or 50's will come back to Finals in the afternoon.

Top 30 qualifiers in the 13&Over events of 200's will come back to Finals in the afternoon.

**All Relays are timed Final and will not be swum in the Finals session- just the morning.

The relays will be the first events of the prelim session.  It is absolutely imperative that your swimmer is on time for warm-ups because if we have to make any changes to relays we will be doing them before warm-ups are over based on who is present and who is not.  If you are late to warm-ups, your swimmer's relay spot may be given to someone else.  There will be no negotiating changes after they have been made due to the limited time we will have to work through the chaos of last minute changes.  Please review your swimmers entries in the ENTRY REPORT on the website to verify if your swimmer is entered in a relay!

The event numbers will have a skip immediately after the relays are complete. After Event #10, the next event will be #12 Boys 13&Over 200IM.  Event #11 does not exist for this meet.

10&Under timed Final session will have warm-ups from 12:15-12:40pm in Lanes 18-20 (Shallowest Lanes).  Meet Start is 12:50pm.

Finals Warm-ups are from 4:00-4:50pm for all qualifying athletes.  Finals Session starts at 5:00pm and will follow the same order of events (minus relays) as the morning prelim session.

SUNDAY:

All warm-up and meet start times are identical to Saturday.  Same lanes as well.

Same thing for the relays as above in red.

Event #53 Girls 13&Over 200 IM will be the first event after the relays, and then it will skip to Event #55 next.  Event #54 does not exist at this meet.

Timers:

We have timing responsibilities for every session, including Finals.  Here is what we need:

Friday PM session we need 2 timers for Lane 7 for everthing except the 500 Freestyle's (which are provide your own timer).

Saturday and Sunday Prelim and Finals sessions we will need 2 timers for Lane 7 for the entire session.  This makes a total of 8 timers needed at a minimum for this part.

Saturday and Sunday 10&Under Sessions we will need 2 timers EACH for Lanes 7 and 8.  I already have one timer for both days, so we will need 6 more timers for this part.

The timing assignments (per usual) are based off of attendance numbers from each club.  We have over 70 athletes attending, which is why we have more timing duties than normal.

This is a huge task to put together.  Therefore, please email me your availability so that I can put together a list of who will time what day/session.

If spots remain open Friday morning, I will be assigning timing duties to families with swimmers in the sessions.

If you are unsure if your swimmer will qualify for Finals, give the psych sheet a glance and see where they rank in their events to give you an idea of the likelihood and go from there!
