PPA Meet Registration and Details

The meet information for the PPA Harvest Heats meet October 14-16 is now posted on the website.  You can find the meet info doc under the Events page by clicking on the meet name.

Registration will close at midnight on Thursday, October 6th.  Please commit or decline your athlete's participation for the meet before this registration deadline!

***Reminder that when you go in to commit or decline, you will be given the drop down box options of attend or decline only.  If you have restrictions on which days you can attend, please declare those in the NOTES box on the same page as the drop down box.  Example:  If you wish to attend Saturday and Sunday, but not Friday, you will need to type in "No Friday" in the notes box.

***All 10&Under swimmers are encouraged to swim Saturday and Sunday only.  This will be the default event line up chosen for all 10&Under swimmers attending.

***All 11&Over swimmers are encouraged to swim all three days.

 

Here are some highlights of important information from the meet invitation document:

-Location:  Pikes Peak Athletics Training Center, 602 Elkton Drive, Colorado Springs, 80907

-Swimmers can have a maximum of three events per day

-$8.50 per event, no additional swimmer surcharge

-There will be no relays or awards for this meet.

- We would like for all attending families who will be staying down in Colorado Springs for the weekend to consider booking a room here.  We have a block of rooms reserved and can tentatively get more if these fill up fast!

 

Meet Schedule:

Friday Session 1 (Open):  Warm-ups = 3:30-4:30pm

Saturday Session 2 (12&Under):  Warm-ups 10:00-10:25am, Meet Start at 10:30am

Saturday Session 3 (10&Under):  Warm-ups 12:00-12:25pm, Meet Start at 12:30pm

Saturday Session 4 (13&Over):  Warm-ups 2:00-2:25pm, Meet Start at 2:30pm

Saturday Session 5 (Open 400 IM / 500 Free):  Warm-ups 4:00-4:25pm, Meet Start at 4:30pm

Sunday Session 6 (12&Under):  Warm-ups 8:30-8:55am, Meet Start at 9:00am

Sunday Session 7 (10&Under):  Warm-ups 10:30-10:55am, Meet Start at 11:00am

Sunday Session 8 (13&Over):  Warm-ups 12:30-12:55pm, Meet Start at 1:00pm
