TIME TO PLAN AHEAD FOR LONG COURSE STATE: We have reserved a block of rooms at the LaQuinta Inn, Fort Collins, for $85/night. If you think you will be attending, please call the hotel to put a room in your name by June 29 to get this rate. The dates of the Long Course State Meet are July 23 - 26. Call the LaQuinta Inn at 970-493-7800 and mention that you are with the Evergreen Hurricanes to confirm your reservation. Any questions as to whether your swimmer is likely to qualify, please ask Coach Jeff.

We encourage all interested swimmers to come practice with the team for a trial week before paying registration fees. Come check us out!! We offer a high quality swim program under the direction of a professional coach, with three levels of practice groups to meet the needs of a full range of young athletes. PRACTICE GROUPS and SCHEDULE: Hurricanes are classified by categories, and our practice groups are organized accordingly: Category 1, Category 2, and Category 3. Click the Practices link on the left for the details of the practice groups and schedules.

The Evergreen Hurricanes Swim Team is a year-round team based in Evergreen, Colorado, that offers a competitive swim program to mountain area youth of all abilities and potential. This community-based swim team encourages swimmers to strive for their personal best in the sport while helping them to develop important life skills and a strong personal character. The primary practice facility is the newly renovated Wulf Recreation Center located next to the Evergreen High School . At an elevation of 7200 feet, high altitude training is normal for this team! The pool is an indoor 25 yard 6 lane pool with a gradual increasing depth from 3 1/2 to 11 feet.
