Brian Pursley

Hello Hurricane Families!

First, I would like to give a huge pat on the back to our team for their progress in training over the last few weeks. After a late start, we are right in the middle of the most difficult part of our winter training plan and our team has not backed down. They are working hard as a unit, rising to the occasion together, and coming out of each new challenge stronger and more focused. This is how great athletes and teams are built, so I encourage everyone to stay the course!

Please check some team updates below. Please excuse the length. There is a lot to cover with the Hurricane's this week!

Thank you all and have a good weekend!

Coach Brian

Agonswim Group Order has Arrived.

  • The new gear looks great. Most items have been picked up, but there are some items remaining, If you haven't picked up your order it will be available next time you are at Wulf.
  • The parka order is scheduled to ship the first week of December. I will send out a heads up before we pass them out for the sake of parents wishing to use them as Christmas gifts.
  • In case anyone is regretting their sizing / gear choices, Nicole Reyes has offered to track unwanted suits / gear and match any potential swaps. If you have something you may like to trade you can email her at [email protected]. Additionally, all suits and gear are eligible for returns to Agonswim. However, since all of our gear is custom made, a 20% restocking fee will apply.

Group Ambassadors are Officially Getting to Work!

  • We have an awesome group of volunteers stepping up as group ambassadors and social coordinators to help make our team a more welcoming and tight knit community. Upcoming Stroke & Turn Judges Clinic

  • Although we are not currently hosting meets, teams are always looking for more judges to help keep the meets we attend running. Any time we can offer a few judges to the organizers of a meet we are attending, it is a sign of good faith and stewardship in the swimming community. If any parents are interested in becoming stroke and turn judges (which is the first step among many to be eligible to serve in other meet official roles), there is a clinic scheduled for  November 16, 2022, @ 7 pm. at Cherry Creek High School,  9300 E Union Ave, Greenwood Village, CO 80111. Please reach out to me for more information.
