Troutdale Tavern, Basecamp, Fall Tune-Up, Pre-Registration, Fall Schedule Update
Hello Hurricanes Families,
Congratulations to all of our exceptional athletes who recently wrapped their long course season with great performances at the Colorado Zone 2 Meet. Your dedication and hard work showed, and I was thrilled to witness example after example of swimmers showcasing new skills throughout the entire weekend.
As we move forward, there are still a number of exciting competitive opportunities ahead. This week, we have Kileigh Ackerman competing at Sectionals in Boise, Idaho, after a very impressive few months of preparation. In just two weeks' time, we anticipate the participation of Tallaby Riddle, Elliot Somers, and Austin Linn at Futures in San Antonio. Moreover, we have a talented group of athletes preparing to compete at the upcoming Age Group and Senior State Championships, representing our team against the best age group swimmers in Colorado. Lastly, I am very excited to announce that Boyd Rothman has earned the honor of representing Colorado at the Western Zones Championships in Boise, Idaho during the first week of August. Boyd's selection is a testament to his exceptional performance, as it essentially requires ranking among the top two athletes in your age group in the state in at least one event. We applaud Boyd for this outstanding achievement!
Once again, I extend congratulations to all our phenomenal athletes for their accomplishments this summer and look forward to more to come. Let's continue to shine and make our team proud!

Basecamp and Fall Tune-Up
Basecamp and Fall Tune-Up registration is now available. You can see the schedule for both programs HERE.
Athletes currently in Categories 3, 4, 5, & Surge: Please register for Basecamp HERE. Please note that Basecampers will automatically be entered into the Castle Lake Swim on August 26th. If you register for Basecamp and do not plan to attend the Lakeswim, please notify Coach Brian via email.
Any current Hurricane or any prospective Hurricane with competetive experience, please sign up for the Fall Tune-Up HERE. The fall Tune-Up is specifically designed for Categories 1 and 2, but is open to all swimmers. New swimmers with competetive experience are welcome. If you do not have competetive experience, we suggest you start at the beginning of our fall schedule after labor day.
New Athlete Pre-Registration
We're currently working to make the process of starting out with our team a little more straightforward heading into the fall season, which starts after labor day. We welcome new swimmers any time, but this is the best time of year to join our team.
One of our initiatives is the creation of a pre-registration link that connects prospective families to all of our teamwide e-mail communications and directs new families to some of the most important information they'll need to get started.

Due to a change in pool availability, there has been a small change to the published practice schedule this fall. All Tuesday evening practices have been pushed back 30 minutes, and the Category 2 and 3 practice has been shorted by 15 minutes to accomodate an earlier end time. The updated schedule is available HERE.
