Parent Meeting Wednesday, Practice Schedule Updates, Welcome New Category 1 Swimmers!

Hello Hurricane Families,

I hope your week is off to a fantastic beginning, much like our season. Last week, it was great to see our athletes returning rejuvenated and eager to dive back into their training. I'd like to bring a few important announcements to your attention this week:

Firstly, a friendly reminder of our upcoming all-parent meeting scheduled for Wednesday, September 13th, at 5:00 PM at Wulf.

Secondly, we've made a slight adjustment to the practice schedule to better accommodate our recent coaching changes. Commencing this week, on Friday afternoons, there will be a single senior workout session from 4:30 PM to 6:15 PM, while the Category 2 practice has been rescheduled to run from 6:15 PM to 7:30 PM. The entire updated practice schedule is available here.

Finally, I want to extend a warm welcome to our new Category 1 families. Coach Lori, Coach Aspen and I were delighted that we have a really advanced group of beginning swimmers this season. Category 1 is going to thrive with the attention of three coaches and the entire pool for the first time ever. All of our new swimmers fit in very well. Unless it has been otherwise noted, please plan to continue in Category 1 this fall. If you have not yet registered, you can do so here.
