Halloween Walk

The Hurricanes are hosting a booth at the Downtown Evergreen Halloween Walk this evening. Thanks to everyone who has pitched in candy or volunteer time. If you plan to trick or treat downtown, be sure to stop by and show some enthusiasm for the team!

Schedule Tonight - Dryland Cancelled

Although I fully expect attendance to be light on account of the evening's activities, we've decided to keep our practices going for those who want/need to swim today. We are making one last minute change to the schedule, however, which is that dryland for the Senior group is cancelled this evening.

Team Captains

Introducing a new tradition for the Hurricanes, our senior group will be electing team captains as leaders and athlete representatives of the team. There will be a box for nominations by members of the senior group at the pool this week, and the Senior group will elect one boy and one girl captain from the nominees next week.

Our captains will take on a leadership role among their peers, and serve as a laison between the athletes and the coaching staff, the group ambassadors, and the board. I am excited to see how our leaders thrive in a new role like this!
