REGISTRATION DEADLINES!! (Membership, Mock Meet, and Team Apparel Store)

Registration:

Reminder that all swimmers need to be registered for the year no later than Sunday, September 15, 2024.  After this date, we will have to withhold unregistered swimmers from the water until they complete registration!

Team Store:

The team store for apparel through Denver athletic will be open until Monday, September 16th at midnight! If you want to order any Hurricanes gear, please place your order before the online store closes for a little while!

Mock Meet sign up deadline:

As discussed at the parent meeting, the Mock Meet we will be running on Saturday, September 21st from 7:00-8:30am is open to all Hurricanes. Our goal is to create a swim meet setting and do a dress rehearsal of what a swim meet looks like so that our newer swimmers can get the experience with as little stress as possible!

In order to create this setting, we will need to have EVERYONE attending register for the meet on our website. The coaching staff will enter swimmers in events (free of charge) and then create heat sheets based off of this registration. So if you want to attend, please go in and register no later than Thursday, September 19th at midnight. We unfortunately will not have a spot in the meet for anyone who shows up on Saturday who did not register!

To register, log into our website www.evergreenswimteam.org and scroll down to the Events calendar at the bottom of the homepage. Under the meet name "Mock Meet" click the button "Attend/Decline" Select attend, and then in the NOTES BOX feel free to submit any special requests such as needing to be done swimming before 8:30am or any strokes your swimmer is not ready to try. We are still a week out from this deadline, so please reach out with any questions you have!

Team Pictures:

We will have team pictures on Wednesday, September 25. Please mark your calendars for this one. More details to come, but we are looking at having the Category 1 individual photos (optional purchase for parents) happen from 4:30-5:00pm and then we will do Team and Group photos at 5:00. After these photos, Category 1 can go home, as we will not have practice during the team photo time Categories 2 and 3 and Senior 1 and 2 will have some form of practice afterwards, schedule TBD. We will announce this a few days before the event!

Team Store for Equipment:

We are working with MI Sports to have our entire equipment list, along with swimsuit options, made available to the team. Those details are being finalized tomorrow through the weekend, and we will have an email out to the team with these details by Monday!
