Loveland Holiday Showdown registration deadline

The meet information for the Loveland Holiday Showdown has been posted on our website under the Event title on our Event calendar.  The meet is held up at Loveland the weekend of December 13-15.

The registration deadline for this meet has been set for Thursday, November 28th at midnight.   (That's Thanksgiving night)

This meet is a little different than a regular meet in that it will follow a championship format on Saturday and Sunday.  Friday events will be swum as timed final events.

The meet information document has thorough explanation of how this meet will run in a prelim/final format for all age groups.  

A simple explanation is that every swimmer will compete in their assigned events in the morning (prelims) sessions on both Saturday and Sunday.  After the results of the morning swims are complete, the Top 8 swimmers for each age group in each event will come back in the afternoon/evening to compete at the Finals session.  Age Groups will be divided into the standard 10&Under / 11-12 / 13-14 / 15&Over.

We will send out more information about this format when we get closer to the meet.  But you may want to read through the meet information entirely so that you know what you are signing up for on each day!

As always, if you have any restrictions when committing like "No Friday" or "No Sunday", please type this into the NOTES box when committing your swimmer to the meet.
