Parent Meeting Rescheduled, Meet Registration, Team Store Links

Parent Meeting Monday, September 22:
 
We have rescheduled our parent meeting for this coming Monday from 5:30pm-6:30pm at the Wulf Pavilion outside of the rec center.  We strongly encourage all members to attend because we will be covering a large quantity of information regarding the season.  If you can't make it, there will be a recap email sent out after the meeting for you to review.  I'll be available after the meeting for any individual questions you may have about any matter covered!
 
September 27th Home Meet Registration:
 
We host our first meet of the season at Wulf Rec Center on Saturday, September 27th.  This will be an intrasquad meet with all Hurricanes strongly encouraged to attend!  The meet will run about 3-4 hours long from warm-ups to meet end.  Warm-ups will be broken into age groups and those details will come out next week.  
 
If you are a returning member to the Hurricanes, please go in and register your swimmer for the meet before the deadline of Monday, September 22!
 
If you are new to the team and are unaware of how the registration process works, we will be going over this extensively at the parent meeting on the 22nd and you can do it there, or after returning home.
 
Hosting a swim meet requires a ton of volunteer participation with many different "jobs" to fill.  These positions will be outlined and made available to grab through a sign up genius link I will send out Sunday night prior to the parent meeting.  THese jobs will also be covered in detail at the parent meeting on the 22nd.  So keep an eye out for the Volunteer link sent out this coming Sunday!
 
Mock Meet on Friday, September 26:
 
To prepare for our home meet on the 27th, we will be running a Mock Meet for all Hurricanes during practice hours on Friday, September 26.  This will run very similar to a real meet, just a micro-version of it.  This gives us the opportunity to test run all of our meet equipment, and also give any new swimmer a rehearsal for how a swim meet works- which they will hopefully get to experience the very next morning!
 
The Mock Meet will run from 4:30pm-6:15pm and is open to All Hurricanes, including Category 1.  To properly make this mock meet fucntion, we will be asking families to register for the meet via our website as you would any other meet by Thursday night at 8:00pm.  That way we can create heat sheets and teach kids how to read through a meet program as they would any other "real" meet.  As with our home meet registration, if you are aware of the process, please go in and sign up stating that your swimmer will be attending this practice meet.  If you do not know the process, you will have three days to register after we discuss the process at the parent meeting!
 
MI SPORTS Team Equipment and Apparel Store:

Team suits will be available for purchase in bulk order delivery to Wulf through Sunday, September 28th.
 
The team store is open year round, this deadline is a means of avoiding an individual delivery charge to your house and having it delivered to Wulf Pool.
 
Denver Athletic Apparel Team Store:
 
We use Denver Athletic for a variety of other apparelt periodically throughout the year.  This is where you can find a collection of team clothing that is not part of the MI Sports team store.  These store open for a window of time and then closes.  The first window is open now and will stay open through Sunday, September 28th.  We will reopen the online apparel store through Denver Athletic again closer to the start of Holiday season!
